Scarlett Johansson Shines in Latest ‘Interview’ Magazine Feature

The latest issue of Interview magazine, hitting newsstands on October 8, showcases the talented Scarlett Johansson on its cover. In the issue, the 28-year-old star of “Don Jon” opens up about her thoughts and experiences.

When talking about her low, raspy voice, she once mentioned, “I never had much luck with commercials because my voice was always so deep. Even at 9 years old, I sounded like I had been hitting the whiskey and cigarettes a little too hard. Definitely not the voice you’d want selling Jell-O, that’s for sure.”

When I got my SAT scores, I remember the scale was out of 1,600 and you could consider yourself pretty smart if you got a 1,240. I ended up with a 1,080, which was on the lower side. I think my math score suffered because I didn’t answer half of the questions.

As a child actor, I experienced rejection early on. My mom took me to see a kids agent because I had a passion for musicals, but they didn’t want me. I was heartbroken and thought my career was over. However, this rejection taught me a valuable lesson – that sometimes, shedding a few tears could actually help me get what I wanted in the end.
